Battery operated cabinet lock with keypad and key override
CL2000 is an electronic combination lock in stand-alone design adapted to replace mechanical cabinet locks. The cabinet lock is powered by two replaceable 1.5V AAA batteries and is adapted for surface mounting. IP class 54 is achieved when the cabinet lock is combined with the seal offered separately.
The lock indicates a low battery level and can always be emergency opened using a 9V battery on emergency poles. 4-digit code is entered on the keypad. The knob on the lock turns the bolt +/- 90º.
The lock is ready to use immediately after installation and requires no keys. A straight and angled bolt is included.
Override via key
Emergency opening in the event of a forgotten code or powerless device can be done easily via security key (sold separately).
Default code
In this mode, a common code is used to open the lock. This is the default setting of the lock. Up to 20 unique codes (users) can be programmed per device.
Public mode
In this mode, a new code is used for each lock cycle. Once the current code is entered, the lock is ready for the next user to select a new code. Typical applications are locker rooms. This mode can be combined with automatic unlocking which is programmable between 1-24 hours.
CL2000 is delivered with this setting from the factory.
Easy replacement of batteries
Batteries can be replaced without removing the unit, which was previously necessary in the predecessor CL1000. Dial the valid code and open the jumper to reveal the battery door.
