SAFETRON 6500HD is certified according to the Swedish Anti-Theft Association's standard SSF 3522 class 2A, 2B, 3, 4 and 5 and the European standard SS-EN 14846 Grade 7. SAFETRON 6500HD is also approved as a lock in doors with class RC3 and RC4 with the market's leading door manufacturers.

SAFETRON 6500HD is equipped with a reinforced cam bolt and is designed for use as a security lock in doors with protection class requirements 1, 2, or 3. Motor lock 6500 can also be used in combination with dørautomatikk.

IP rated motor lock for harsh environments and critical infrastructure
The SAFETRON 6500HD is a revolution in high security locking in harsh environments. The lock housing is based on the proven 6500 motor lock but is enclosed and is protected against water, moisture and dust thanks to its IP67-rated electronics. The control unit is also supplied in an IP66-rated enclosure.
The motor lock protects people and property in commercial properties and critical infrastructure where it is used for locking doors with high security requirements. Installed in a certified RC-classified door, the 6500HD is approved for security requirements:
- Protection class 1
- Protection class 2
- Protection class 3
Typical locations where HD Series motor locks are used are tunnels, bridges, mines, coastal sites and other extreme environments where high security requirements exist.
The 6500HD motor lock disengages in less than 0.1 seconds, therefore a separate day lock is not normally required on high-frequency doors.

IP rated enclosure
The CU2 controller is supplied in an IP rated enclosure (IP 66) making installation in harsh environments possible even for the controller.
Integrated with access control systems
The SAFETRON 6000 series offers integrated control for several of the market's major access control system suppliers via OSDP®.
This means that the motor locks can be connected directly to the access control system's door controller without styreenhet then configured using the access control system's software, which simplifies installation and provides a more cost-effective door environment.

Connection via styreenhet
Connection via styreenhet using SAFETRON CU2, which is supplied in all kit packages. The CU2 control unit has the widest range of applications on the market in a single styreenhet. Two motor locks can be connected without any restrictions on signal exchange, which means that the CU2 is effectively two control units in one. The CU2 also offers the option of programming AUX relays for the desired function.
Emergency exit according to SS-EN 179
SAFETRON 6500HD can be used in emergency escape routes together with SAFETRON emergency exit device 795 according to the European standard SS-EN 179:2008, and SSF 3522 class 2B. The combination provides a door environment where requirements for both high security and emergency evacuation are met in one locking unit.
Re-entry
SAFETRON 6500HD together with 795 offers the possibility of tilbakerømning. In an emergency evacuation situation, the motor lock is opened via the emergency evacuation device, and the built-in micro switch in the emergency evacuation device signals to the control unit that an emergency opening has taken place. If tilbakerømning in the control unit, the motor lock is placed in an unlocked position until manual reset via a signal to the control unit occurs, which then locks the motor lock. tilbakerømning reset are handled in the control unit and can therefore be administered by a higher-level system.
