Preload technology
SAFETRON ES17 features listetrykksteknologi means that the lock opens even when pressure is applied to the door. Edge pressure is a normal phenomenon often caused by, for example, excess pressure in the building, crooked doors, or snow/gravel getting into dørspalten. The ES17 electric strike eliminates these problems and prevents unnecessary downtime.
Multi-voltage
The ES17 offers multi-voltage 12-24 VDC. This streamlines inventory management and simplifies selection during project planning. This also provides advantages for the service segment, avoiding the need to provide different variants to get function.
Lowest power consumption in the segment
With only 35mA @ 24VDC, the SAFETRON ES17 has the lowest power consumption in the segment, both in fail secure and fail safe mode. This contributes strongly to a more cost-effective door environment, especially in larger installations where the dimensioning of transformers and battery backup can otherwise mean a large cost.

SAFETRON ES17 is an el-sluttstykke of the standard type with listetrykksteknologi is suitable for doors with normal security requirements but high demands on operational reliability. The ES17 electric strike plate is well suited for day locking in shell protection and internal locking in retail, offices, and industry, or in entrances and common areas in apartment buildings.
Micro switch as standard
SAFETRON ES17 is available with either right-facing or omvendt funksjon, but always with fallemikrobryter. Fewer variants mean greater cost efficiency in terms of design, installation, and warehousing.
Balanced alarm monitoring
The micro switch in ES17 is compatible with connection in a balanced alarm loop. In a balanced loop, there are given resistance values in the alarm system that determine whether the door status is defined as normal, alarm, or tamper.
Sabotage protection
All electrical end plates in ES17 and ES19 series are supplied with a stainless steel tamper guard that prevents access of the Cable through the mounting post holes for pressure drops. It also helps to create a more aesthetically pleasing installation.

Compact dimensions
Thanks to its small size, the SAFETRON ES17 fits in virtually all door sets that are prepared for standard electric strikes. The small size also allows for 150mm faceplates adapted for interior doors. This means that the ES17 is well suited for electrical locking in e.g. office environments.
