Electric strikes
An electric strike plate is an electric lock that is mounted in the door frame in combination with a mechanical door lock. Electric strike plates are available in several different designs to meet various functional and security requirements, including adaptation for dørautomatikk.
SAFETRON el-sluttstykke designed to work effectively with dørautomatikk, enabling smooth and reliable door opening even under pressure. This improves operational reliability in door environments where automatic door openers are used, for example in buildings with pressure differences, sealing strips, warped doors, or snow accumulation at thresholds.
SAFETRON el-sluttstykke always el-sluttstykke fallemikrobryter standard and are available in versions certified for use in fire compartment doors.
Anti-tampering devices are always included
Our Electric strikes are compact in their design, which means that they fit in all profile systems on the market. A disadvantage of these compact dimensions is that our Electric strikes, like other similar ones on the market, are so small that the Cable is visible through the faceplate's hole for the lock housing's handle latch bolt.
To counteract this, all electrical terminals i ES17 and ES19 series with an anti-tampering device that prevents access to the Cable. It also helps to create a more aesthetically pleasing installation.

What is an el-sluttstykke?
An electric strike is an electric lock that is mounted in the frame in combination with a mechanical door lock. Electric strikes are available in several different designs for different types of functional and security requirements.
-
When are el-sluttstykke used?
Electric strikes are suitable for use in door environments with normal security requirements but high demands on operational reliability. For example, high-frequency access doors in offices, trade and industry.
-
How does an el-sluttstykke work?
Electric strikes have a locked latch that keeps the door closed. This locking mechanism is released by activating the lock's built-in magnetic coil called a solenoid. The locking mechanism of the electric strike can have a fail secure or fail safe function.
-
What is the fail secure / faile safe?
Fail secure means that the lock is locked without power and thus opens when the lock is powered, fail secure function works the other way around.
-
What is list printing?
Positive or negative handle on the door leaf, thus affecting the locking mechanism. This is normally caused by e.g. sealing strips or warped doors.
-
What is multi-voltage?
This means that the lock can be powered by both 12V and 24V and thus does not need to be ordered as either/or.
-
What is an assembly post?
The faceplate is the Electric strike's attachment to the frame. These vary in form and function depending on the door manufacturer and requirements.
-
What is a fallemikrobryter?
Piston contact is a microswitch that is affected by the lock case's latch bolt, when the door is closed, this gives a signal that can be managed by the access control system.
