Enhanced lock control
The SAFETRON ES22 is equipped with dual micro switches but also has a built-in sensor that indicates that the latch is in the closed position a so called 'anchor switch'. Signal for micro switch and anchor switch is done separately or in series.
Balanced alarm monitoring
The micro switch in ES22 is compatible with connection in a balanced alarm loop. In a balanced loop, there are given resistance values in the alarm system that determine whether the door status is defined as normal, alarm or tampering.
Preload technology
SAFETRON ES22 features listetrykksteknologi means that the lock opens even when pressure is applied to the door. Edge pressure is a normal phenomenon often caused by, for example, excess pressure in the building, crooked doors, or snow/gravel getting into dørspalten. The ES22 electric strike eliminates these problems and prevents unnecessary downtime.

ES22 fail secure / fail secure
Used in door environments with requirements for: fire proof, automatic door openers, handle function, emergency exit and mechanical re-entry via collapsing latch bolt.

ES22 fail safe / fail secure (choose right or left version)
The lower latch has a fail secure function to maintain the fire proof properties and the upper latch has a fail safe function to allow re-entry via an activated fire alarm or emergency exit via an emergency opening terminal.

Multi-voltage
The ES22 offers multi-voltage 12-24 VDC. This streamlines inventory management and simplifies selection during project planning. This also provides benefits for the service segment, avoiding the need to provide different variants to get function.
Low power consumption
The SAFETRON ES22 has the lowest power consumption in the segment with only 35mA @ 24VDC/twist, both in fail secure and fail safe mode. This contributes strongly to a more cost-effective door environment, especially in larger installations where the dimensioning of transformers and battery backup can otherwise mean a large cost.
User-friendly & Reliable
The lock connection terminals are positioned to allow access even when the faceplate is fitted. The fixing of the faceplate is positioned in such a way that the interlocking piston of the door lock has no risk of getting stuck in the screw fixing.
