SAFETRON i PostNord's terminal in Helsingborg

The rapid growth of e-commerce has led to increased demands on both logistics flows and the security required to support them. When PostNord's 21,000-square-meter terminal in Helsingborg was completed in 2020, they chose us at SAFETRON as their partner to deliver electronic locking. The aim was to protect both operationally critical areas and staff areas.

The terminal is a central part of PostNord's nationwide network and handles large quantities of goods around the clock. To meet the needs of accessibility and protection, we installed solutions that meet high standards of function, durability and user-friendliness.

How we secured the terminal

The project involved installing el-sluttstykke and solenoidlås SAFETRON were installed in various door environments. The goal was to ensure reliable access control without affecting the flow in an operation where efficiency is crucial.  

Our products were specifically chosen for their durability and ability to integrate with modern access control systems. Products in the project:

  • Electric strike plate ES17 - Installed in environments where fast passage and reliable locking were important, for example between the logistics areas of the terminal and office areas.
  • Electric strike plate ES19 - Used in doors where extra strength and long life were required, especially in high traffic areas.
  • Solenoidlås – Installed in staff areas where there was a great need for simple and controlled access. This solution contributed to both smooth workflows and increased security.
